Classic Christian Rock Radio (CCRR) is a personal broadcast streaming Christian rock music via the Internet through the services of Live365. As a personal broadcast, it is not affiliated with any particular group or organization. I (Mr. Bill) am responsible for the content and programming.
My goals are simple - to feature classic Christian rock music from the 1980's up to the early 1990's, and in the process share the love of Jesus Christ and the good news of how we can have abundant life in Him with others. And oh yeah - have fun and enjoy the wonderful gift of music that God has given us in the process!
Feedback from listeners is encouraged. Most of the music used on Classic Christian Rock Radio is purchased (everything has been obtained through legal means) - and I encourage listeners to support Christian artists by purchasing their music as well. All music is covered by Live365's licenses with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and Sound Exchange.
I encourage listeners to become preferred members of Live365. When you do this and listen to Classic Christian Rock Radio, part of the monthly broadcast fees are reduced. You also get to enjoy Live365 commercial free and without pop up ads, as well as enjoying mp3PRO CD quality sound from the Live365 player.
I live in the Lancaster/Palmdale area of the Antelope Valley in Southern California. It is a part of the Mojave Desert - an area that has been dubbed "the high desert" because the elevation is above 2,000 feet above sea level. I am married and have three sons. We are active members of a local church, and I have been involved in leading adult Bible study groups in various forms for years. I gave my life to Christ as a sophomore in high school. My wife and I both work for a local school district.
I have always loved radio, and I am excited to be able to do this as a hobby. I not only enjoy the music, but I have an appreciation for the history of Christian rock music and for the gifted people who have pioneered the music, as well as for those musicians who continue to express their faith today through Christian rock music.
I love to hear from my listeners. Any comments or suggestions regarding Classic Christian Rock Radio are most welcome. Send your email to mrbill@classicchristianrock.net.

P.S. Mr. Bill is a nickname that was given to me in 1979 by a junior high school student (when Saturday Night Live was in it's hey day), and it has stuck with me ever since.
