Brand New To Live365?

Here's What You Need To Know

Live365.com is a web site featuring hundreds of streaming broadcasts. The majority of these broadcasts are run by regular folks just like you and me - they are called personal broadcasters. Live365 also features many professional broadcasts as well. Classic Christian Rock Radio (CCRR) is a personal broadcast. The CCRR broadcast requires a broadband internet connection, so make sure you have DSL, cable modem, T1, or some other type of high speed connection before you attempt to listen.

To listen to Live365 broadcasts, you will need to open an account with Live365. Don't worry - it's free - and it only takes a minute to sign up. When you click on our listen link for the first time, it will take you to our station page on Live365 and will open a pop-up window instructing you to download Player365 (For Mac and Firefox users, see the information at the bottom of this page). Follow the instructions, and once the player is downloaded, it should start playing automatically. If you have any pop-up blockers enabled, you may have to temporarily disable them. Once Player365 is running, you will find a link in the bottom left corner of the player that allows you to open an account with Live65. Just click on the link and follow the instructions. For other options, see the information listed below.

The pop-up ads you see and commercials you hear while listening are not provided by Classic Christian Rock Radio, but by Live365. CCRR has no control over the content of these ads. If you have concerns regarding any of these ads, please contact Live365. Live365, like any commercial entity, tends to be responsive to feedback from its consumers. Live365 does restrict the types of ads that it inserts into religious broadcasts.

We strongly recommend that you sign up for VIP Membership. Simply click on the link on our home page. VIP Membership costs only $7.95 a month, and with it you get unrestricted listening, no in-stream commercials, and no pop-up ads. As an additional benefit, VIP Memberships help to support CCRR financially - Live365 pays us a small amount based on the number of VIP listening hours each month.

Once you sign up for a Live365 account, make sure you click on the Listen To Radio link on the top menu bar, and then click on the Listen Settings button on the right hand side of the page. On this page you can check several of your listening settings. Make sure you go to the bottom of the page and check the Ad Content Filter section to exclude adult, liquor, and tobacco ads. While these types of ads should not appear in religious broadcasts, you want to make sure you don't get them if you are listening to other stations on Live365.

We hope that you enjoy listening to Classic Christian Rock Radio!
